I am Kemper Donovan and if you couldn't tell from that opening music we are doing

something a little different today. July 4th is coming up, listeners, the date on which

we here in the United States celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence,

which kicked off the Revolutionary War,

or the American War of Independence,

as I believe it is known in some circles.

And I figured, cheeky American that I am, what better opportunity to discuss

the Americans in Agatha Christie? Because there are a lot of them, and I knew this before I prepared for this

episode but I don't think I realized to what extent there are a ton of Americans

littering the Christie Cannon.

So that is going to be the topic of our episode.

But first, I just want to get spoilers out of the way.

This is going to be another spoiler heavy episode and the plots to the following

titles will be discussed slash spoiled in ways ranging from extremely tangential and minor to thorough and major.
