0:26.3	Of course, Congressman Jim Jordan did not win enough votes yesterday to win that gavel.
0:32.9	That was the second vote the first one was held on Tuesday.
0:36.5	Jordan announced earlier today that there was not going to be a third vote.
0:40.3	Congressman Jordan says he's not dropping out of the race for Speaker.
0:44.3	A source familiar with the Congressman's plans told Daily Signal that Jordan will not
0:49.2	be dropping out and that he will continue to run and try to shore up votes until January
0:55.2	and that he remains Speaker Designee.
0:58.8	But in the meantime, McHenry holding the position temporarily will allow Congress to
1:03.8	consider things like aid money for Israel.

1:08.8	This next bit of news takes us down to Georgia where former Trump attorney Sidney Powell has
1:14.7	reached a plea deal in a case accusing her of election interference in the 2020 election.
1:21.4	Powell has pled guilty to six misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit election interference
1:28.3	in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court.
1:31.3	She is entering her guilty plea just one day before jury selection for her trial was set
1:36.4	to begin.
1:37.4	It appears that she will serve six years of probation as part of the guilty plea and pay
1:43.3	about $9,000 in restitution and fines.
1:47.1	She will also be required to turn over documents and has agreed to issue a letter of apology
