I'm off radio the rest of the week, taking some time. Typically, the first chance to kind of

take some time is when the NCAA tournament ends. It's kind of the extension of football season through free agency, through the tournament,

and there's always kind of an opportunity to take some days off before the draft.

So I'm going to head out of town for a few days in the weekend, and I'll be back on Monday.

But again, the show today, Scott and Doc will be on it.

Tomorrow, Tommy and I are recording a show later on today that will run tomorrow and then no show on Friday.

There is some news here to open up the show related to Alex Ovechkin. It is the headline right now on ESPN.com that Alex Ovechkin will wait until after the season,

probably sometime over the summer, to decide his future.

He did an interview, a pre-taped interview with Capp's radio play-by-playman, John Walton,

that is airing today where he says, quote, we're going to make a decision in the summer, closed

quote. He cited health is the most important factor. He's 40 years old. He's

obviously being peppered with questions about his future here as the cap season is very likely to

end without a playoff berth. Not a good night last night for the Capitals. They didn't even play
