Summary

The Ohio State men's basketball season officially came to a close last night with a loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in the quarterfinals of the NIT. The Buckeyes nearly pulled off a victory as Jamison Battle missed a go-ahead three-pointer at the buzzer. Jake Diebler now turns his attention to his first off-season as head coach, and it starts with the spring transfer portal opening. One rumor is the Buckeyes are close to bringing back a former player, Meechie Johnson, who spent the last two seasons at South Carolina after originally playing for Chris Holtmann in Columbus. The Cleveland native has blossomed into a star guard in college hoops, but is he enough to bring Ohio State back to national relevance?
