Summary

Last season the ACC conference champion was omitted from the college football playoff despite being undefeated. The conference is no longer viewed at the same level as the SEC and the Big Ten and some of the current ACC powerhouses are taking notice. Clemson is currently being rumored to try and find their way into a new conference... and what better place to land than the Big Ten. The move would benefit both sides. Clemson would be able to play a better brand of football that would appeal to recruits, not to mention already holding a rivalry with Ohio State, and the Big Ten would begin to tap into the southern United State and start to rival the SEC in terms of its southern exposure.
