But because of Biden dropping out in July, this convention also became a de facto kick off of

Kamala Harris's presidential campaign in a way that it is usually not.

A few people from Slate were on the ground in Chicago reporting and today I'll be talking to one of them

about some of the queer moments that didn't get as much attention online during or post-convention
