I mean, I too deleted my UX account a while back, so I didn't personally have to experience the thing we're going to talk about, but listeners have maybe heard or if you're on the website that a few weeks ago the platform was taken over by an ad blitz for a

Prager U film about detransitioners.

You know, Prager you as we'll probably get into is not a university, but it is a high budget right-wing

content creator, probably most famous for its really weird YouTube videos, so X users saw ads for this ridiculous anti-trans

like Adjet Prop film all over the app because Prager bought a takeover ad on the

platform so there is a lot to unpack here and we invited the

fantastic NBC journalist Joe Yurkeba who wrote an article about the D-Tranz

takeover to chat with us about everything that went down,

but also Elon Musk's ongoing conversion of Twitter into whatever X is supposed to be,

and kind of how anti-trans disinformation has become so ubiquitous online.
