my co-host Jules Gil Peterson back in the house to save you from me Jules.

That's probably not a shocking revelation about I think that's like well I shouldn't say it's a queer deficit but there's a lot of us that can't do the adding and subtracting I feel like at least in my queer mathematicians write in and yell it's fine.

So in this week's show we're really honored to be joined by one of the most important queer

legal minds working today.

You almost certainly know Chase Strangio,

a lawyer and advocate with the ACLU,

who is and has been working overtime for years

alongside many other legal folks

to fight back against the deluge of anti-trans and broader LGBTQ

legislation that we're seeing in this country. Now that we're into the third month of

2024 we wanted to have Chase on to discuss the sorts of attacks happening in state legislatures and federal government also across the US.

And spoiler, they are hellishly numerous and varied.

And to hear about how he and his colleagues are fighting back, where we're winning and losing ground, and how we can all help.
