Like, how do we as a species decide to say numbers in that way?

Is it phonetic? Is it phonetic? to say numbers in that way. I'll even be giving... No, I don't know, man.

I don't think that would be phonetics.

I mean, I have in the middle, you know, in my job, sometimes I have to call a local state office and give them a parcel number, like a real estate parcel number,

which are often, you know, like longer than social security numbers, or at least as long.

And I'll find myself going from like, it's 408-413-960. And then like, as I'm doing it, it I'm like what the hell am I doing this person thinks

I'm fucking crazy they never notice they don't give a shit our brains both it's like we go back

and forth between it and we don't even notice when we do it well yeah because when you're when

you're reading it off if I was like to say 410, you would think it could possibly be 4.0010.
