But we're going to focus mostly on current events.

We're going to take up the slack for two things that I was supposed to cover last week.

And somehow fell out of my brain in the middle of it and didn't do.

Derek Bon Pietro wrote me back after the generator statement yesterday and said,

I told him I didn't have to. I just disagreed with him and it's okay if we disagree.

I'll talk about that in my lead story today.

And I got my ass kicked with the argument I'm making right now by a competitor back in the late 90s

when I used to sell computer hardware.

I got my ass kicked hard. It cost me a deal for a couple hundred grand.

And I stopped pursuing those deals because I knew I was going to lose over and over and over again with that exact argument.
