Hey, what's going on everybody? Welcome to the Zoe Church podcast and a happy new year. This is our first

Sunday of 2003. Happy New Year to you and your family. We are praying God's best this year that God would,

as he says in his word, crowned this year with his goodness. And so happy new year. I'm excited to preach today's

message. We're going to be jumping in right away to Isaiah chapter 43. And the title of today's

message is called Out with the Old and In with the New. Thank you to every person, by the way,

But without any further ado,

let's jump into this week's message out with the old and end with the new. Isaiah 43. I'll read

and I'll tell you my title. Isaiah 43, do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold. You know God's serious when he brings

out the behold. This is some real angel of the Lord announcing his son's birth. Behold, God says,

I will do a new thing.

Now it shall spring forth.

Shall you not know it?

I will even, watch how powerful God is.

I will even make a road in the wilderness and I can make rivers in the desert. Let me translate that for you.

God is saying I can make a way where there seems to be no way.

Where everybody else sees desert, I see the possibility of a river.

When everybody else sees wilderness, I see the possibility for a road.

So you need to understand the power of God on
