Hi, Dr. Laura. Thank you for taking my call. You don't know me as Katie. You know me as Miss B and I have called in with my high school classes a couple of times over the years.

I love you. Welcome back. I love you. Thank you so much. But I have to tell you in the years that we have not called in. You have still been a part of my classes. I have taught in a faith-based school and so love and sex and marriage and relationships have been have gotten to be a great part of my curriculum and I've always used your calls. And I can't tell you how many awesome conversations have come from that in the beautiful lessons.

But I have finally got to to live out one of your lessons in that I am leaving the classroom and getting married and I get to be at stay at home mom. I was a foster parent. I ended up adopting a little big boy. And when I said, why are you picking me when I don't come with a father for him. They said because you come with an army for him. I have a great big family.

I am really old as to me. And I prayed so hard that somehow it might not have been the most linear journey. But that somehow God would provide a great man and he did. And I get to be a stay at home mom and I am so excited as much as I have loved my career and loved including you in it.

I have been living out this great lesson that I have gotten to talk with many kids about and I am just so grateful. And for anybody that has been listening and maybe is it working or is not even married or with kids or whatever and is thinking I want that to pray and work for it.

And if I was ever dating a guy that didn't value that, it was like no problem. Adios. And so it hasn't been the most linear journey. But I'm so grateful for your consistency of message because throughout those kinds of ups and downs and especially seeing a single mom with a baby and all of that.

Your consistency of message was a real beacon for me to pray for and to strive for and to sacrifice for and the fact that it's coming true. It just means everything to me.

Oh, I just want to hug you miss B, you know, so how old is your how old is your adopted son?

He will be three in July.

Oh, that's the cutest age. Yeah.

Yeah, I've had him since nine months and yeah, it's been wonderful. And there's been so many conversations that one of my like if someone said, give me a top 10 conversation with the kid.

One of them was after going through a lot of your calls of the day and I had a whole like lesson plan with different calls. One girl came to me and she said, I teach was teaching seniors. She said, I really just want to be a stay home mom.

I'm going to college, but I'm afraid I'm just going to get into so much debt that I'll have to work my whole life.

And we talked through that and I didn't really, you know, totally have an answer for her. But that's why I feel like today you might be in that situation where you do have student loans and you feel like, gosh, there is no end in sight, but, but it is, it is possible and to keep that goal is so important.

Go to a two year college, get an education and something and then get on with your life. Yeah, not much you do with four years, unless you're becoming a dentist or a doctor or pharmacy.

I'm going to put you on hold. I'd like to be able to stay in contact with you. Miss B, I hope you folks out there have heard my conversations with her classes. They were wonderful. So she'd have me.
