After You're Dead, Explorations into the Afterlife, a Modern Book of the Dead. So why did

you call it a Modern Book of the Dead? Throughout history, throughout civilizations, there have been books of the dead.

I guess the one we're most frequently exposed to as the Egyptian book of the dead and the

Tibetan book of the dead.

And they tend to imbue these books when they were written with a lot of the cultural aspects

and what people believed at the time.

And also they used it to influence them.

So I thought there was a need for a modern Book of the Dead, you know,

to kind of accommodate, I mean, if we look at death as something inevitable,
