All season long, we have been asking for people's stories about being out-edit work.

And so many people have shared their experience with us.

Yeah, close to 3,000 people told us how they navigate being queer and having a job.

And there was just this huge range of stories.

I'm really lucky to say that being out at work ended up being one of the best things that

happened to me just because I was able to find my own community within my workplace.

I came out at work before I came out anywhere else and that kind of helped me to come out

elsewhere.

I'm not out at work except for the one other queer coworker that I have.

And her response was basically, I don't know how to handle this.

Bringing my full self into work is not particularly relevant to the work I do.

The chemicals in my lab don't care if I'm queer or straight or if I'm in a relationship

with in my life.

I would say the biggest theme we saw in all of these stories is that being queer at work,

it's never as simple as just being in or out.
