Kate, how the hell are you doing? I feel like I haven't seen you in forever.

I know, ever since you went off on your whirlwind ski trip up to Vermont.

I did nothing this weekend.

I'm just sitting here gaining weight and growing a baby,

but I was kind of living vicariously through your post.

How was your ski trip?

It was amazing.

It was so nice just to get out of the city and go up and hang out with friends who

aren't in like the online world and aren't addicted to their phones and

don't care about every little thing that's happening on the internet. Like I put my phone

away for eight hours and I went back to it and I was like, oh there's some drama going on here, what's going on here,

what's trending, this and that.

So that was really fun.

And on top of that, I brought the old ball and shame, the significant other,

on a trip with my friends which was the first

time that he's met my friends so that was kind of a big deal for me.

Yeah how did it go? Did he fit in with everybody? He did he fit in great. It was fun. It's always a little bit nerve-wracking
