Summary

Join Jim and Greg for the Labor Day 3 Martini Lunch. In this special edition, they unveil opinions that might catch most of our listeners by surprise. From K-12 schools to college life and from covert ops to conducting elections, they have some ideas and positions that are different than what you might expect.

First, Jim wants to create an organization that tells you what to do but that no one would listen to. Then Greg, while a huge fan of the school choice movement, sounds the warning on vouchers and details why school choice laws need to focus on making sure that money doesn't ever come with government strings attached.

Next, Jim notes how campus living is conducive for forming friendships and wants to apply that to grown ups. Greg explains why he wants to repeal one of our constitutional amendments.

Finally, Jim wants the intelligence community to convince the world that the U.S. has an elite, deployable strike team capable of carrying out any sort of mission anywhere in the world at any time. And whether it exists or not, the key is making the rest of the world believe this "dangerous clique" is real so they will behave. Meanwhile, Greg wants to make major changes to how our elections are run. Brace yourself if you like mail-in balloting, dropboxes, or lots of early voting and other current practices.

Well, I certainly don't encourage anyone to call in sick if you're not actually sick for that first day of school. but you do need a good phone system,
