Hello, hello, everybody. Welcome back to another little mini episode of Fluently Forward. I am joined again by my friend Zoe, who lives here in Denver, but you also know of her podcast, Broken Spine Social Club. And you've been on for a couple episodes, I think. I know. Series regular. I feel very, very honored.

Yeah, we've talked about like a bunch of different things because

we kind of have some of the same obsessions. And one of those is the secret lives of Mormon wives.

And we're going to be talking about season two. I think you were kind of a little bit late to the

craze, right? Did you watch season one and season two together? Oh, you might have thought that

based on my Instagram stories. But no, I just rewatched

season one immediately after finishing season two. So I watched season one when it came out back in

like September-ish, I think. And then as soon as season two came out, like my ass was planted on

my couch at 10 o'clock p.m. on a Wednesday night, Denver time,

because I think it was released at like midnight EST. And I would just like to say, I have had an

obsession with the secret lives of Mormon wives long before the show. I'm sure, Shannon,

were you a blog reader? Did you read a lot of blogs? Because this started out as a blog, right? Oh, shit. I had no

idea. I mean, I know, of course, we've had Indy Blue on the podcast, and I know that she's like,

you know, iconic blogger, original influencer type of status. So I know that she was blogging.

And I guess kind of all of the Mormons seem like they know each other. It's kind of similar to shout out to you because you just had your official bama mitzvah, right? Or no, not bmitsma, but because the b bama mitzvah. The ceremony, I think is still called the bat mitzvah. Oh my God. It shows how much I know. But anyway, I feel like all my Jewish friends, like, they know

somebody else, like in Pennsylvania from like camp. And I would imagine it's the same for Mormons

too, just like a small group that like everybody knows everybody. So I think that they, I don't know,

have been trying to go the influencer route for a long time. And it's really picking up steam now.

Absolutely. I think I grew up with a lot of Mormon friends interestingly in Sydney, Nebraska. And there's this real like part of their

culture is like documentarianing. Like I had one friend from kindergarten and she had her great,

great, great grandmother's journals that she had kept

meticulously on like the Mormon trail from wherever to wherever. And that manifested in the early
