So as of this recording we're still, you know, in the middle of, or the end of Q4 actually.

And Elon as of this recording is still running it, he did put out a poll saying should I still run

Twitter and I believe it was 60 plus percent of people said he shouldn't be running

Twitter he said he would abide by the results of the poll so Neil and I were just chatting on this

and we actually moved this episode up

because we have some opinions around this.

I would never bet against Elon.

I think he's one of the smartest and best entrepreneurs out there and he's created so many brilliant companies that are going to change the world.

And I think we can all agree on that.

But what he's doing and I ran a 2023 marketing spend survey asking companies where they're going to spend their marketing and one of the channels I talked about was social media and I was specifically talking about Twitter ads.

And here's interesting, right?

28% of companies and I interviewed over 8,000 marketers, I believe the number was, I forgot

the exact number, but it's like 8,032 marketers. So all right,

34% of markers plan on decreasing their Twitter ad spend. When asked why

their main responses they don't agree with how Elon Musk is running the platform and

their views of the decisions he's making. A lot of them are political. A lot of
