The Focus Group pod has been on hiatus as you may have noticed, but rest assured we have been

fielding focus groups at a breakneck pace for the past few months. We've been capturing how

all kinds of voters feel about the state of the country and their choices in the upcoming presidential

race. We've got a bunch of focus group sound demonstrating how Republicans have rallied around

Trump since he was indicted, so lots of good stuff to share, and we'll be back soon. But in the

meantime, we're going to re-up my conversation with Jane Coastan of the New York Times from this

past spring about our never-ending culture war. It's one of my favorite episodes that we've done,

and if you missed it the first time around, be sure to check it out. It will tide you over

until the new Focus Group pod comes out. Just to give you a little taste of what we've been hearing

that we play some sound from some of our recent focus groups about Trump. So I hope you enjoy

some of these bites. And if they can do it to Trump where he can defend himself, I can only imagine

how he would be if it would just a normal person. So I feel like he stands for the small people,

even though he's a big personality. If they have a picture of him dropping a piece of litter in

the street, they're going to want to have him executed. So I just feel this is just a bunch of

bull just to bring him down, but you know, they get the wrong person this time because he's not

going to give in. That's what we like about him. You want to know what is new to women is letting

men wear woman face. That's what's new to women. That's fun. Letting them wear what?

Woman face. You know, everyone made such a big deal about wearing black face. Well, I maintain what

Dylan Mulvaney is doing is wearing woman face. I love to see the flood light sales have plummeted

as a result. I love to hear that they have to return the product back to the manufacturers

because nobody's buying it. We need to see more of that. There's obviously a lot more where that

...
