Good to see this morning. It is good to see. I'm Jimmy Evans. I'm senior

elder at Trinity Fellowship in Amarillo and Pastor Robert is in Amarillo preaching

this morning. We did a marriage seminar this weekend in Amarillo that

we recorded for television and it is called the Blessed Marriage and Pastor Robert came in and he

did a phenomenal job teaching about finances and I taught on other issues and so I'm here

this weekend speaking, he's in Amarillo, it is good to be here.

And Pastor Robert asked me to speak on the subject of marriage.

Last time I was here I spoke on marriage,

I'm actually going to be back here in the fall

doing a marriage seminar, and I hope we'll be talking to you more

about that in the future, but I hope a lot of you will be able to attend.

So anyway if you have your Bible there if you'll turn to Luke Chapter 14 and we're going to talk

this morning on the subject of marriage.

Let me tell you this little story as we begin this morning.

Kind of a touching little story about marriage.

It says,

the woman's husband had been sleeping in and out of a coma for

several months. Yet she stayed by his bedside every single day. One day when he came to he motion for her to come closer.

As she sat by him he whispered eyes full of tears. You know what you have been

with me through all the bad times when I got fired you were there to support me.

When my business failed you were there.

When I got shot you were by my side.
