Nintendo just announced who is playing Link and Zelda in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda movie.

This was surprising.

I think there were some reports not that long ago that they had just sort of started the search forecasting.

So we knew this was coming, but I expected it to come a little bit later on.

Yeah, yeah, I definitely did not expect to see the two main roles of this movie cast so early.

But interesting to get this information, and we definitely want to

dig into some of these details and see how we feel about the two people that have been cast

to play these two, like, super iconic roles. So, yeah, let's talk about it. Yeah, let's start by

looking at this tweet. This is Miyamoto. I am pleased to announce

that for the live action film of The Legend of Zelda, Zelda will be played by Bo Braggison

son and link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth's son. I'm very much looking forward to seeing both of them

on the big screen. Wow. Tweet one of two, though. The second part of the tweet. Well, tweet, too, is just a reminder of the date of the movie, which is May 7, 2027. So we're still like, gosh, a shade under two years away from this movie coming out. My goodness. Mr. Miyamoto needs a tweet longer. We all need a tweet longer these days, yes.

Wow.

Yeah, so let's talk about these two young actors that have been cast for this role.

Definitely a bit of a different approach, I think, to the casting of the Mario movie, which

was filled with super well-known, whether we like them or not, opinions aside now,

people, they were very well-known, sort of established actors, recognizable names, people that

have been in huge, you know, series or films, big franchise actors.

This is not the approach this time for the Zelda movie.
