Hello everybody and welcome to a Patreon update and general update.

It is December 2017 and this is Leon Cox from Canaan Rince to say a few things.

Go through a few items on this agenda that I have.

We'll also be putting this up in text format.

I've written it in advance. I'm going to try not to just

read it out because that's really dull, but I'll be bouncing off some of the points that we want

to cover. In this promised update, I did say after the campaign that ended late November in the

end, we decided to finish trying to hit our target for the year.

And, well, the first thing to say is, of course, thank you to all of our patrons and supporters.

And to announce that we didn't hit our very ambitious target.

And that's all right.

We knew it was a challenge.

But we still completely thrive on your support, financial and otherwise.

We knew it was a very tall order, as I say, and in the end, we've fallen quite a way short of the amount that we needed to go full-time and produce twice the amount of podcasts in 2018.

No point in sugaring that pill. That's just the way it is. We didn't

know. We gave it a try and that's not going to happen. This year we'll be doing 50 again, just the 50

games in 2018 and 50 plus episodes of Sound of Play as well, our video games music podcast, which you should subscribe to if you don't already.

But the great news is a big capital, however, we more than doubled our income through Patreon throughout the year, which is just wonderful, really incentivizes us and allows us to keep putting the maximum that we can into continuing

with this project that we love so much, particularly Jay and I who pretty much treat this as

a large part of our employment now, and that's kind of what we're working towards.

We love making it, we want to keep on making it.

But obviously it does have an impact on the rest of our lives because what we do is we put a lot of time and effort into making the podcast full of interesting content.
