Well, hello, everybody. It's very nice to be here. I'm Megan Lewis, as that little introduction said,

as it says, every single week. And with me is the wonderful Bart. Bart, how are you doing today?

I'm doing well, thanks. Are you ready for this? We'll see. I mean, this is the first time ever, you know, a live thing. So, right, good luck to us. Yes, I think it will be okay. We've had a little, very minor teething issues and we are a whole like two minutes in. So it bodes well. We'll be great.

Okay. Teething's okay. Can you actually believe it's been a whole year?

No, actually, it doesn't seem like a year. It really doesn't. And it's, for me, it's flown by.

And it's just, it's been fantastic. I mean, I didn't

know, you know, going into this. I had no idea. I really, if I was, if it was going to be any good,

if I'd like it, you know, if I'd enjoy it or, you know, we've run out things to talk about.

And, you know, and so it's full, full of. And for me, just personally, it's exceeded, exceeded expectations by a wide margin. I hope you're enjoying it.

I am. I really am. Every time someone tells me how much they enjoy the podcast, my immediate response is, well, I'm glad you do. I love it.

And the fact that other people enjoy listening to us and watch us talk about various historical

minutia and New Testament's topics makes me very, very happy. No, it's a delight. And I think I've

described it before hosting this is almost like going back to grad school for a completely

different topic. I am learning an awful lot of information. It's wonderful. Well, it's a lot of fun

to talk about things that are important to me in my career, but people are interested in this kind

of thing. And I'm glad you are too, by the way. It does help for me to be interested. You are an expert in ancient history, but a different, you know, a different part of history. And it's, I think it's, for me, this is what really has helped to work because you're, you know, you're an expert in a cognate field. And, you know, and so it's, that, it's, It's been really great. No, I'm enjoying it.
