Summary

Sadie begins by thanking everyone for the outpouring of love, messages, and support she and the Robertson family have received since her grandfather Phil Robertson, passed on. Then Korie and Christian join her to answer questions and talk about the realities of filming a TV show with your family. Is their reality show scripted? What are some funny moments when it all went wrong? And much more! Don’t miss Christian’s "Virgin River" moment and why Brad Pitt can chew on camera but Christian can’t — or shouldn’t. The new "Duck Dynasty: The Revival" series begins airing on Sunday, June 1, only on A&E! This Episode of WHOA! Hey friends, we're going to get into today's episode in just a minute, but of course we had actually pre-recorded today's episode.

0:07.9

We've been trying to get caught up with all the things, and that was before my pep ball fill had passed away.

And I just wanted to come on here and make sure that I say to everyone, thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your kind words,

for all of the messages, for all of the posts that you've made, for all of the comments.

Every single one has gone such a long way and has honestly just made me reflect so much about

the life my grandpa lived.

He is truly a legend. And I knew that and I knew there was no one like him, but even more so now. I've never, maybe never known someone who lived a life with the end in mind so intentionally every day. I mean, it's really weird how many videos and clips we have of him talking

about death. It's actually crazy. But he lived like that. He lived with the end goal in mind. And because

1:01.7

he was so aware that this world was not his home, he talked about it all the time, not just for his

1:08.5

sake, not just for our sake, but for everyone to make sure they knew

1:12.8

about Jesus and the hope that they could have to. It's amazing seeing clips of him from

1:17.4

like 40 years ago saying the same things that I would hear him saying, you know, last year.

1:23.3

And what a life of authenticity and what a life of just true belief and true faith.

1:28.6

I was thinking back over the last couple months of just some times we got to spend.

1:33.4

And it was probably, yeah, about six months ago.

1:38.2

That's when the Alzheimer's, you know, had really kicked in pretty heavily and things were getting pretty tough.

1:44.9

And I remember telling my husband, we were watching Doug Dynasty, and I was crying,

1:50.2

just seeing Peppaella feel back being as strong as he was and knowing kind of the state he was in.

1:55.4

And I said, I wish I would have told him just thank you for teaching me how to preach by the way he lived. I wish I would have told him just thank you for teaching me how to preach by the way he lived.

2:03.7

I wish I would have told him.

Like, that's why I do what I do because it's all you do it.
