So we're in chapter four today, and I'm going to jump into the message for the sake of time.

But before we jump in, just for all of our new people,

let me explain a little bit about what's going on,

who's writing the book, what's happening,

and give a little bit of context before we jump into the fourth chapter

of the book of Ephesians.

Now, we have been recapping each week,

just so we're on the same page.

This is a letter being written from, well, the guy, his name is Paul.

He's a fantastic church leader.

He's in the city called Rome.

He's writing from his cell.

He's writing from jail to a city called Ephesus.

Now, we know that Ephesus is like a, it's like a major metropolitan city in America.

It could be likened to New York or Chicago or the greatest city in hashtag America, Los Angeles.

And so he's writing to a major city, Ephesus.

This is a fantastic city.

And he's writing such profound revelations on who we are

in Christ, the life that we should live.
