This week, Peter Lewis brings a message where he talks about Jesus as our living hope and how especially around the holidays and the month of December, we can fall asleep spiritually and not be awake and aware of the return of Jesus.

And Peter brought so much vulnerability of his own story. He tells testimonies about how God

paid off his debt. And my husband and I, we got touched. We got touched by God this Sunday morning.

We needed a touch from the Lord.

And he touched our hearts through this message.

He woke us up to the reality of his return.

And things we've been struggling with, we realized, oh, my goodness, our eyes have been fixed on temporary things,

not on eternal things like the return of Jesus.

And we have a testimony from Sunday morning.

And I pray that as you listen to this message,

that the Spirit of God would convict your heart and empower you to wake up in light of his return

and that you would experience the Father's kindness and provision like my husband and I did on Sunday morning.

I personally, sometimes I told my wife this mid-November, I was like, hey, I was kind of just

vocalizing some tension I was feeling about December. I said, I think I'm dreading December.

You're like, wow, that's intense. And I sometimes dread December because of, like Kevin said,

it's such a season season it can be of distraction

where there's so many activities and parties and spending and so many potential causes for stress in our

hearts and I always I just for me I love I want to live from a whole heart. Amen? Like I want to, I don't want to just
