| 0:05.0 | Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:08.0 | Today is September 15th. If it wasn't a Sunday, we would be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, |
| 0:16.0 | which always follows the feast of the triumph of the cross. |
| 0:24.1 | Normally, this feast day is the day that we remember how Mary suffered with Jesus in his |
| 0:30.9 | work of saving souls. However, Mary did not begin to suffer at Calvary when Jesus was crucified. |
| 0:40.2 | Oh no, her suffering began much earlier. |
| 0:45.2 | Her suffering began when Jesus was presented in the temple 40 days after his birth, |
| 0:50.8 | and Simeon prophesied that a sword would pierce Mary's heart because of her |
| 0:58.3 | son being rejected. And almost immediately, Mary and Joseph had to flee with their infant |
| 1:05.2 | son to Egypt to escape being murdered by King Herod. Then when Jesus was 12, he disappeared for three days, causing great anguish in the heart |

| 1:56.2 | And today we turn to our Mother Mary with gratitude, for all she and her son suffered for us. |

| 2:12.3 | Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. |
