And first things first, we're both sick y'all.

I don't know what happened.

I guess the news of the weekend and the Republican debate, it just was all our immune systems

could take.

So we're sorry.

We're really, really sorry about our voices.

But we couldn't take the week off.

There's just too much to talk about.

So somebody put Shonda Rhymes in charge of the world.

So clearly we're going to be talking about the crazy news and the debates and the scotus

updates in the purls.

And then in the suit, we had a really great idea from one of our listeners to talk about

why we are Democrats or why we are Republicans and kind of our individual perspectives.

And then in the heels, we're going to talk about women in the political media who inspire

us.

So if you can stick with us through the nasal congestion, it should be a great episode.

Well there's certainly a lot to talk about.

So we'll just dive right into the debates.
