Hey everyone, before we get into football in a couple of minutes, I wanted to take some time to share some thoughts because I hope many of you are having the same thoughts that this isn't a non-sports conversation.

It should be a conversation that everyone has,

because the problem is at the root of this nation

and everything grows from there.

And I want to start by saying that I cannot even imagine what someone else's life is like.

Let me repeat that. It is impossible for me to understand what someone else's life is like.

People living through legitimate, crippling hardships, people in a constant

discomfort, even fear on a day-to-day basis.

I might be in the exact same situation as another person, but it is impossible for me to know the feelings

someone else has in that moment, the previous experiences or interactions that comes to

forefront and manifest in that instant.

But there is a baseline of human interaction for all of us to meet and its kindness.

The pursuit of empathy and the understanding that there are other perspectives

beyond the one that you hold and if the statement that Black Lives Matter

upsets you please take a step back and do your best to survey what has

happened in the last week, what has happened in the last three weeks, what has

happened in the last three years, what has happened in the last 30 years, and so on, and

consider the conscious and subconscious advantages other lives in this country have had in that same

amount of time, and that it has not been equal treatment.

And so it's about time we listen to those who have not been given the same advantages. And Hello my name is always My name, as always.
