This week on the Colin and Samir podcast, we're bringing you an unreleased conversation about our first big Hollywood meeting.

If you've been following us for a while, you know that one of our big dreams is to make a documentary.

And this conversation you're about to hear was recorded right after we pitched the idea for our documentary to a producer named J.D. Roth.

Some quick backstory. About a year ago, we connected with a guy named Tom Boyd.

After we got to know him a bit, we found out that he was actually part of writing this song.

That party last night was awfully crazy. I wish we taped it. was actually part of writing this song.

If you haven't heard that song before, it's called I Love College.

And it's by an artist named Asher Roth.

That song came out right around the time that I actually went to college, so I knew the song really well. The song actually has an amazing story,

and when Tom told us that story, we immediately decided we wanted to make a movie about it.

So through writing that song and working with Asher Roth, Tom has a connection with Scooter Braun.

Scooter Braun, if you don't know, is one of the biggest names in music. He's a massive music

manager. He's best known for bringing Justin Bieber to the world. And today, he manages artists like

Ariana Grande and Kanye West. Long story short, we put a pitch deck together, made a sizzle reel, and through Tom's

connections with Scooter, we got a meeting with Hollywood producer J.D. Roth.

So right after the meeting, we recorded our conversation, kind of like a debrief after the

meeting, and that's what you're about to hear.

We've been sitting on this one for a while, but we're really excited to bring

this to you guys. We feel like it's an awesome conversation and it's fun for us to relive such a
