0:03.6	And today we're going to share with you our favorite marriage and parenting resources.
0:15.5	Okay everyone with this episode we promise you this is part two of our series and today's
0:21.7	resources are going to be all about parenting. Yeah last week we talked about our very favorite
0:25.8	marriage resources and so today we're going to talk about parenting and the things that we use
0:29.5	in our everyday life with our children and how we incorporate our faith in almost everything we do.
0:35.6	I also want to encourage you to have a piece of paper and pen or maybe use your phone just to be
0:39.4	able to take notes as we go through some of these resources because we want to encourage you guys to
0:44.2	do a little bit more research on them maybe order some if you need to but we just we are really
0:49.9	excited about sharing some of these resources with you and so maybe just having that available
0:54.1	to take notes would be helpful for you. So one of the main reasons that we are sharing
0:59.0	our favorite resources you know it's one of the reasons why we started Marriage After God podcast
1:03.9	is we're trying to encourage marriages to recognize that their marriages are ministries
1:08.7	that it's not just about happily ever after it's not just about getting to the next day or to
1:12.8	next Friday or waiting until retirement or until the kids are out of the home but it's about
1:17.3	the every day and that this is the day this is the time that God's given us and that our marriage is
1:22.0	one of the most powerful tools he's given us to do what he's asked us to do in this world.
1:27.7	And one of the most important things outside of our relationship with our spouse is how we raise
1:34.4	our children and we try and it's not just turning them into good moral people it's turning
1:41.2	into God loving people who fear God and who serve him and so a lot of these resources we're
1:47.3	going to be sharing are focused around God and centered on Christ and I'm not all of them but most
1:53.5	of them and so we just we want to encourage you that the more we can incorporate scripture and
