And very interesting episode today because we're actually going to be talking about our favorite songs and

albums from 2013 and just music that we want to put you on to because there was an array of releases

not only for hip-hop but for the entire music world 10 years ago and it's cool to kind of see these

albums and now turn that new leaf and officially become a decade old so what's your relationship

aunt with this year as a whole?

Well, it's the start of high school, I think it was for us. For us, it was, bro. Yeah, that was

the start of high school. So a lot of these albums were in rotation. Kind of shaped our music

taste, you would say, right? To a certain extent, I think that we were also just starting to really get into the genre. I mean, going back to 2012, there was great releases, but this is a year that's much better than that. So I mean, you guys are going to be able to find some fucking staples and hip hop, bro, over here. There's so many great releases all the way through. Can we get the classics out of the way? Because I feel like that's kind of the elephant in the room when it comes 2013 for hip hop,

is that it's a year filled with so many gems and so many fan-favored albums

from Jake Cole's Born Sinner all the way to watching movies with the soundoff from Mac Miller

to Drake's Nothing Was the Same, Kanye West Yeezis,

you have childish Gambino's because of the internet. Like

what are maybe some like low key
