Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

So we've been walking through part four of the catechism on prayer, and the catechism ends with a beautiful reflection on the Our Father.

Now, we've done the Our Father in the past, but this is a brand

new version. When his disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, he taught them the Our Father.

This is word for word how Jesus wants you to pray.

Now, the Our Father is actually the basic template the catechism uses to present the entire life of prayer.

And of course, we say the Our Father at the start of each decade of the Rosary,

It's like a couple blades of grass calling a human being their father.

After all, the distance between grass and men is actually a lot less than between men and God. So what does it mean? What can it mean for us to call God our Father? Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name. Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen.
