In 2023, 25% of children under the age of six lived with one parent or no parents

compared to 32% of children between the ages of 12 and 17.

This was according to the 2023 US Census Bureau.

And in the United States and around the world,

we are literally living through a fatherless epidemic, a crisis of

fatherlessness in the culture whereby we see it's almost been glorified for women to

have babies out of wedlock this is where we see the abortion industry thriving as well.

In American households though this has become commonplace. One philanthropist sat down with

nearly 100 nonprofit founders to reveal the importance of men in society and what

happens when they disappear.

MSN so these are not Christians who are pointing out the epidemic of fatherlessness

but I want to point out another epidemic I say that we have an epidemic as spiritual fatherlessness

within the Christian community right here at home, right here in the

homeschool community, right here in the Christian church. And this increase in spiritual fatherlessness

is having a tremendous impact on the rising generation

of young people.

And statistics, of course,

are telling the story of fatherlessness in the culture.

According to the US Census Bureau, 17.8 million children, nearly one in four,

live without a biological step or adopted father in the home.
