excited to be launching our very first podcast called Works for Us. And I think the genesis of this

entire podcast is the fact that most people come up to us and say, I cannot believe you

guys are still together. What works for you? How do you do it? So we decided to put together

some thoughts on what works for us. It's a constant question of like, we'll see people that we

knew in college and they're like, you're still together?

I'll see people and be like, wow, I knew you then.

Was I with Roger that?

Yeah, I was.

And so we should give a little bit of background about why it works for us.

Yeah, maybe the Genesis story would be interesting.

Well, would we tell it differently or would we tell it the same?

My memory is not so good. But from what I remember, one day I walked to work. By the way, it's such a shame that people can't see you right now because your outfit is just really next level right now. I call it COVID casual,

Rachel. Is that what it's called? Oh yeah. It's a whole new thing. So moving right along,

one day I was a waiter. Well, I was a waiter anyway, but I was a waiter at a restaurant in Washington, D.C. named Mona Lisa. And I showed up to work with my good friend Michael

Smith. He was walking me to work, actually. And looked at my right, and to my surprise at the

hostess, Dan, was not our regular hostess. She was cute. But there was this woman and the beauty of

which I'd never seen. Pretty sure I was a girl.

What did I call you?

A woman.
