This is Monica Perez, and I'm super excited about two things today.

One is we're reading Our Enemy This Date by Albert J. Knock, and I have never, of all the

things that we've read and we've read a lot of things, I'm like, oh my gosh, I can't wait to read it.

I think it's because he's such a good writer,

but his observations are so astute and just concisely get to the real issues,

and it was written 90 years ago.

Today's chapter is Chapter 2,

The Origins of State and Class. But I'll tell you the other thing I'm excited about, I just have to get out of my head here in Altadena. So I, whatever,

was reading the newspaper, something. Like, I yell at the newspaper in the morning the way, like, my mom used to yell at the TV.

So I thought, you know, without yelling, I don't like to yell on the air.

But I'm going to share, like, when I see something that's completely frustrating BS in the news, I want to share that.

So I did today a news flash. So I just took one story. It's for premium subscribers because it's

really just for people who want to know my opinion on any one thing or another. And I hope you

like it. It's short. I think today's was like 15 minutes. I don't even know if it's up yet,

but it will be up soon on Substack and iTunes. I have a premium thing on iTunes. Anyway, if you like it,
