All right, welcome to the Pink Bike Podcast. I'm Mike Casmer and I'm joined by Matt Beard, Stefan Pelletier. And unfortunately, we have no leave you this week. So thanks to everybody that listened to that episode. It was good to have a leave you back, but he doesn't work for Pink Bike. So he's not here today. We'll try to get him back in the future. But Matt and Stefan are actually working for Pink Bike and their good podcast

counterparts, compatriots, something like that. So yeah, we got Matt and Stefan who go out to talk

about. I should start with some more. It's a tough, it's a tough act to follow with Levy.

Yeah, I know. Yeah, it is big shoes to fill. I know everybody loves Levy. He's great. That was a great listen. So anyways. You just need some kind of like contrary opinions to find. He's going to start like a little bit argumentative. He's gone some weird things and we can make this work. I feel like I'm not a very argumentative person. So, yeah, I'll try. I'll try my best. Have some, like, hot takes,

maybe talk about Formula One and aliens a bit more. Yeah, there you go. We do some research.

We can all start finding our note. Like what? Conspiracy theory edition of the. Yeah, see how close we

can get to becoming the kicked off of YouTube for having crazy theories. And then I think that's a ticket.

Now we're talking.

Did you both watch the World Cup race this weekend, past weekend?

I watched the recap and it's a pretty quick blitz of all the highlights, but it gives

you some insight as to like how the track played out for each rider.

And yeah, obviously the results.

But yeah, that was pretty intense.

I thought it was good racing, tight racing for sure, especially in the women's.

And then the men's, yeah, it was a bit of a shakeup.

But cool to see some new faces up there. Yeah, it seems like it's such a short track that it's pretty intense, but if you mess up, you're just done. Like, you don't really get any dabs, like one dab and you're, that's it. Or kind of like, Champree, you could make a mistake in Champree, it still do okay if you it worked out. There's just no time on this track to make mistakes. That one's hard. I'm embarrassed, but I did not watch. I'm in that camp of, I don't, yeah, I don't watch with the, I don't want to blame the changes, but I was biking. I was biking this weekend. That's a good reason. Yeah. I like to do it. If I wake up early enough, I like to watch it in the morning and then go bike, you and I feel like somehow it might help me become a better rider a little bit.

Like if I watch a bunch of the world's best riding downhill and then I ride and I can have,

I can like, it might help me out.

I do check out the highlights though and then I check out all the Cathrose stuff, obviously, which is great. So I feel like you still get a, you know, you get the core details.

Yeah, I mean, if you watched it all from start to finish every broadcast, that would be like, there's so much, it's a lot of watching. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I did watch. I did watch World Champs. That was the only race of like fully watched and yeah it was good it was cool that I haven't seen the
