Summary

Romans 2:5-11: 5 But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 He will render to each one according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are self-seeking[a] and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.

0:00.0	Good morning my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. How are you doing this
0:07.1	morning? I hope that you're taking the opportunity this morning to kind of take a
0:10.9	deep breath, set aside the concerns of the day, and get your
0:15.2	mind aligned with God's truth. That's why the morning mindset is produced every single day
0:20.9	is to help you in that endeavor. And it may not be enough some days. You may
0:24.5	need to sit down even longer and get your heart right in your mind align with
0:30.0	God's truth. Well my friends I want to encourage you please do that, do that for your own
0:34.2	sake and for the sake of your relationship with the Lord. We're in Romans chapter 2 and the
0:40.0	apostle Paul is telling us what is going to happen in this world.
0:46.4	He's already told us in chapter one how this sin issue came about and in today's passage
0:52.4	he's going to tell us where this sin issue that we
0:56.0	see in our world is going to end up and what God is going to do about it one day.
1:01.8	Now this is a very sobering passage and is a
1:07.0	passage that really fills my heart with a greater appreciation, a gratitude
1:14.0	gratitude for what God has done for me because what Paul's going to describe today
1:20.0	is our destiny if we do not have faith in Jesus Christ in a saving sort of way.
1:28.8	Meaning we have given our full faith and trust to him. We have said Jesus you are the only way I'm ever going to be forgiven and I receive your gift of forgiveness.
1:45.7	Let me read the passage and you'll see what I mean. This is verse 5 of Romans chapter 2 all the way down through verse 11. But because of your hard and impenitent heart, you are
1:56.8	storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment
