I'm Jeremy Loughlin. And I'm Jacqueline. We are glad to have you listening with us and joining us for this conversation. We've watched and rewatched this episode, Our Decay. And I'm going to go out there and say this is probably one of the best episodes of the season. What do you guys think? I agree. I really agree. This was the first episode in quite a while that I was very eager to rewatch and rewatch again.

It almost seemed like it got better with each rewatch. It's like cheese? Yes. And that it gets better

with age, not with rewatching or eating.

Yeah, I completely agree.

When I watched it live, I wasn't quite sure if I enjoyed it all that much.

But then I kept having to rewatch it because there were things that were stuck in my head that I couldn't unthink about.

And so I ended up watching it several times after Sunday.

And every single time, I was like, yeah, this is really good.

The dialogue, the acting, the one thing that like Jenny and I mentioned in the initial reactions,

that just didn't work with this episode is who got the parts as in all

of that beautiful dialogue was between the lord of the underworld and the wicked witch of the

west that's what made it so great if it had been normal people it would have been like okay

even hook which is weird because of captain hook and Emma, that would have been really very strange.

It would have been sort of boring and also, why are they being so silly?

But these two, it just, the irony made it so much better.

So let's dig into this episode, starting with the past as Zelina is, I guess, maybe

celebrating abandonment day?

Apparently.

Obviously, the cupcake with the candle was reminiscent of Emma's birthday cupcake from

the pilot.
