Hello and welcome back to Happy Mum, Happy Baby, the podcast. I've been recording this podcast now for

over eight years. We're going into the ninth year and I love having an eclectic mix of different

stories, stories from people in the public eye, stories from people who have gone through something that a lot of us will never live through.

I think we're so busy in life. We don't get to just sit and chat in the way that you can in this podcast studio, in the way that you can listen when you're at home, when you're in your car, when you're out walking your dog or out walking your baby.

There's something about audio that is so special. And being able to share

incredible stories is such an honour. It's a massive part of why I love doing this podcast. A little

while back, I spoke to author and journalist Mina Holland. She'd written a book and it was incredible

and I'd read that book and we just knew we needed her to be in this studio with us. I wanted to

share with you her incredible story. Mina and her husband Freddie found out their baby Vida was

seriously unwell two days before she turned just 12 weeks old. In the whirlwind that followed,

their worlds shifted overnight.

What happened next was nothing short of extraordinary.

This episode is about fear and hope, heartbreak and resilience,

and the remarkable strength that parents can summon when they have no other choice.
