Jamie, welcome to the program. Hello Dr Laura, I'm so incredibly

nervous I'm sure you hear that so much but really so honored to be speaking with

you I truly value your words of wisdom in my life.

I listen often and I just want to thank you also for being an advocate for stay

at home moms because I was one for many years to my three ugly

kids and I'm actually now a fitness instructor now that my kids are older so

your work on Wednesdays are yes, they're such an inspiration to me so even when I'm

even when I'm groaning and saying it's too hard I love it is It's too hard.

So I will start just with a little bit of background before my question.

Good.

So I have one brother, one sister.

We're all in our 50s now.

Our parents divorced probably when I was around 12 years old. My dad was unfaithful to my mom and

left her for that woman who he like subsequently married years after that.

So lots of ups and downs of course with our relationship with our dad

over the years.

But I would say, you know, over the course of the years and I'd say his last few

years of his life, we came to, I guess like a cordial relationship, you know, we would talk every few months we would see each other a
