Amen and amen. Good morning and welcome. You can be seated. Thank you. Those of you online that are joining us,

we're so glad that you are. We are going through the book of Revelation chapter by chapter and verse by verse,

and we're going to, Lord willing, finish chapter six today. We'll begin in verse nine. We left off verse eight last week and lord will he make

it through to verse 17 what i want to do though is ask you to stand if you're able uh for the reading

of god's word you can follow along as i read if If not, where you're seated is fine. So,

no worries. Beginning in verse 9, the apostle John is going to continue. Now,

these are the sealed judgments, as they're known. The last four were actually the four horsemen

of the apocalypse. The first four seals released these four horsemen of the apocalypse, the first four seals, released these four

horsemen. We sort of turn a corner now in verse nine, where John continues to write,

when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

They called out in a loud voice, how long, sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood.

Then, verse 11, each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer

until the full number of their fellow servants,

their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

I watched, verse 12, as he opened the sixth seal.

There was a great earthquake.

The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair. There was a great earthquake.

And how about this one, verse 13, the stars in the sky fell to earth as figs dropped from

a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens, verse 14,

it gets worse, receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain, an island, there goes Hawaii, was removed from its place.
