Okay, today we're going to be talking about our 2026 reads so far. So we have some categories, for example, should we just say all of them? Yeah. So we have our best book so far, worst book so far, our most emotional read,

our most unique read, and the read with the biggest surprise. Should we also check in with our

reading goals? Yeah, while we're at it, we might as well. Do you have to call me out like that?

That's freaking rude. No, I wasn't trying to call you out. I was just trying to add another little category that the listeners might be interested in. Yes. Let's start off with that, actually. Oh, you want to start off? Yeah. Okay. You just start off with it. Listen. Honestly, I haven't checked my reading goal on all this year until Michaela today said, I've only read 13 books. and I went and looked at mine and I was like, same. I lied. I've read 20, but it feels like 13. Oh, great. I was going to say, when you said you read 13 books, I thought to myself, there's no way she's only read 13 books. Yeah, well, I've only read 13. No, that's okay. Your reading goal, okay, Reggie, what is your reading goal? Where are you at? My reading goal is 75 books. I've read 13. That's still really good. So it says, I need to read five books to get back on track. That's fine. That's fine. So I'm going to try to push through the MAM line. I was going to say, yeah,

where are you at? I feel cold out. It's fine. My goal is 115, which is 20 books less than last year,

and I've only read 20. And I have seven to get back on track. You can do it. We just read honking books at the beginning of the year, and I think that just really

messed me up.

Think about your driving that you're going to be doing, the little romance books you can

listen to, the little thrillers.

You'll, you guys will make it up.

My reading goal is 100, and I've read 25.

It's really good. Very good. It says, I'm right on schedule. Right on track.

Right on track. But the other day, I, the other day it was counting Kindle books. So it said I was five books ahead of schedule until I went back.

Got an unseen kind of Kendall from your good reads. Yeah. So, you that I lived my life. That's where we're at. It's not well for me, but... Hey, but the fact that you've read that many books is still impressive. Like, you've read 20 books. That's a lot of... It is. Some people don't even read one book in a year. So, you're doing fantastic. I am ahead of the average human being. That's for sure. I just, I really hate that number. I just can't look at my reading. Yeah, I just need to not look at it. We're going for quality this year. After last year, I was like, you know what? Reading goal, I decided I wanted to make more, like,

reading goals is not like a number of books goals, like D&F more books or read every day.

Yeah, read every day or try to read something out of my comfort zone. Like, I'm telling myself

to focus on those kind of goals this year instead of how many books I'm reading because

I was feeling so good.

Then the last year until I realized my Kindle was counting books for me.

It's okay. That's fine. We're one for quality this year, ladies. Quality, quality, quality.

Yeah. I think I saw someone on TikTok, like, post like, I've read 30 books this year still far. And it was like beginning of March. And I was like, I can't compare myself. I can't. I was like, that's crazy. I was feeling a little sad about my. But you guys make a good point. Quality over quantity.

We also can't compare because some people like, maybe don't have a job and they can just sit and read or like I know a girl who
