Welcome back. It's beyond the boss score. I'm Dan Schneier. That's Jacob Gibbs. I'm getting real excited right now, Jacob, because we are seven days away from the NFL draft. And I'm excited because today we get to talk about some sleepers, some sleeper prospects that I or you think aren't getting enough hype. And I will be clear up front. I'm saving some receivers, some receiver sleepers for next week. We're doing a big receiver show. But I'm just excited, man, because so much on the docket for next week, we have pre-drafts.

And then we get to the fun part, which is once they have their fit and a team has drafted them, where are we placing them for fantasy, for redraft, for keeper leaks, for dynasty? All of it excites the hell out of me, Jacob. How are you doing today, my friend? I'm great, man. Yeah, we were talking before the show. I'm like, this is like the least anticipated NFL draft, I think I can remember like ever,

where it's just kind of weird where the draft is early. yeah we were talking before the show i'm like this is like the least anticipated NFL draft i think i can

23rd it feels like it's normally later than that um so it's kind of snuck up on us a little bit

and then also the class is kind of weird um so like yeah i am actually really really excited for next week. Um, but at the same time, like, it doesn't, I don't know. It almost like doesn't feel real. Like normally. Yeah. Yeah. Normally about time draft season is here. I'm like, there's like so many narratives that I'm so excited about and like, I'm thinking about. And I'm thinking about. Who's going to land where and like all these prospects. that I'm so excited about and like what it could look like and with this class I'm

just like man I hope this doesn't go horribly like I hope like I hope that some of these players

that I'm intrigued by don't end up in bad spots because then we're going to literally have like

three players that we feel like we can draft so that's that's kind kind of where I'm at. I've been digging really deep into especially the tight-in position. So that's where we've been sending out these profiles lately. And I think that's going to be really interesting as we get into our sleepers today, like you alluded to. We've got a lot of receivers that we like. but also the receiver class is so deep that I've

been putting that off till the end. So we're going to get to the receivers next week.

There's more film that I want to watch on that. And then we're kind of like holding some of those

sleepers out of today's show. So today will be more focused on running back, quarterback, and

tight end. I do, I think there's some, we might get some crazy values at tight end.

I've been looking at some of the like consensus dynasty rankings and I'm like, whoa,

this guy who I, you at Raradon, who I think is the tight end two in the class is like,

tight in 12 and stuff like that where it's like I think it will change when we get draft

capital but still I just I think that there are potentially some players in this class

are going to get really buried because people just don't seem to know what the hell to do with

this class um I think some people are almost just kind of uh like not doing the like like not digging into all the

player profiles because it is just like a bad class um so that's intriguing to me that we might find

some some sleeper profiles down the board here um really curious to see how the board's going to actually

shape up but i'm curious how that whole thing works out because there's a meta to it too that we've discussed on Tuesday's show, but it's going to stand out to me. It's like, yes, I know the NFL is moving in direction that we want more tight ends on the field. We want more 12 personnel. But at the same time, am I ready to see the fantasy appeal to an upside? Like Eli Raiden is a player who I'm with you on from an NFL standpoint. I think he's going to work and be on NFL roster. I'm not so sure I feel like he's going to be a big part of a fantasy passing game at any point. Like if anyone's NFL passing game is the point where we can use him in fantasy at any point. And that's where I'm kind of at with a lot of these tight ends and I'm struggling with this class.
