Summary

Gabe Ikard and Teddy Lehman recap what they saw in OU football's spring game on April 18, 2026. The Sooners starting offense was impressive and showed off some of their new look running game. Lloyd Avant, DeZephen Walker and Jonathan Hatton all had nice days carrying the ball and John Mateer managed the game well as a passer. The Sooners starting defense was disruptive. Danny Okoye stood out along the line of scrimmage and the Sooners starting secondary put together a really solid performance. Most importantly, there were no injuries suffered in Oklahoma football's spring game.
