Welcome back to the show.

Every once in a while, I like to try to put out an extra episode now and then.

And I was thinking about trying something a little bit new in seeing what you guys think about it. So today I would like to air an episode from the old time

radio Superman program. Now before you laugh about that, let me explain a few things. Number one, although the

old time radio Superman show was primarily a kid's show, there were many storylines on the show

that adults could actually enjoy pretty well.

Also, a lot of the stories felt more like it was the Clark Kent detective show than it was the Superman radio show.

And so there are some good little mysteries on this program.

So before you laugh at it, you know, give it a shot and see what you think.

And so like I said, I'm going to air an episode today from that show and hopefully you guys

will like it.

And if you do like it, I'll try to play some more from that program.

But a little bit about the program and then a little bit about the actors and then we'll get into it.

So the Adventures of Superman was a long-running radio serial that originally aired from 1940 to 1951, of course, featuring the Superman character.

The series came to radio as a syndicated show on New York City's W-O-R on February 12, 1940.
