Welcome back to the podcast, your host here, Dakota. And today I've got a good suspense thriller for you from suspense called Drive-In.

And this one stars Judy Garland.

And you probably already know who Judy Garland was.

She was an American actress that was most well known for her role as Dorothy in the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz.

Born Francis Ethel Gum on June 10th, 1922, Judy Garland was an American singer, actress, and dancer.

She had a career that spanned 45 years and attained international stardom as an actress in both musical and dramatic roles

and as a recording artist and on the concert stage as well. She received a Juvenile Academy Award,

a Golden Globe Award, and a special Tony Award. Judy Garland was the first woman to win

the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for her live recording, Judy at Carnegie Hall of 1961.

One of Judy Garland's most successful films other than The Wizard of Oz, of course, was MGM's

Meet Me in St. Louis of 1944, in which she introduced three standards, the trolley song, the boy

next door, and haveself a Merry Little Christmas.

Judy Garland was a very pretty girl that had a successful career as a singer and actress,

but she also was a very troubled person throughout her life.

Multiple marriages and affairs throughout her life.
