So glad to have you with me today. And I've got something a little bit different this week. I'm going to feature a play from suspense that gives a possible explanation or point of view of the famous Lizzie Borden case.

And I got to thinking about it.

You know, this, I've known about this play, you know, for a while.

I listened to it a few years ago.

And there's actually a movie that is coming out on September 14th, which is just in a couple of days at the time of this recording.

That movie is supposed to be apparently a modern day retelling of the famous Lizzie Borden case.

But if you don't know what the Lizzie Borden case was,

or who Lizzie Borden was, she was an American woman who garnered notoriety as the main suspect in the August

4th, 1892 axe murders of her father and stepmother.

And that was in Fall River, Massachusetts.

She was actually tried and acquitted for those murders.

The case received widespread newspaper coverage throughout the United

States. Lizzie Borden and her association with the murders has remained a topic in American

popular culture mythology into the 21st century, and she has been depicted in various films,
