And today we get into a brand new episode, this one from CBS Radio Mystery Theater, called The Secret of Crow's Nest.

And this was episode number 893 of the series.

The first run was September 15th, 1978,

and there was a replay of that on March 20th, 1979.

The writer was Gerald King, and the actors Mandel Kramer, Carol Tatel, and Ian Martin. And real

quick, we'll talk about a little bit about a few of these actors here. Mandel Kramer, he was born

March 12th, 1916, and he was the last actor to play the role of yours truly, Johnny Dollar.

He also appeared on the edge of night.

And he appeared in 130 episodes of

Radio Mystery Theater.

And after graduating from high school,

he went to Western Reserve

University and went to work for his

father's shoe store.

He saved $15 a week so that he could take classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
