She often appeared in dramas with her husband, Frank Lovejoy, and we will hear from Frank Lovejoy in the future as well.

She first appeared on radio with Walter O'Keefe in 1936 when she was only 18 years old. She began her

Hollywood career with small roles in such films as Cry Danger of 1951 and Washington's Story of

52. She became better known in the 50s and early 60s for her many appearances as a supporting

actress in films such as My Pou Gus. She made five appearances on Perry Mason, including four

roles as the murderer. Joan Lovejoy passed away in Los Angeles, California in 1998 from lung cancer at the age of 79.
